Instrument and Ensemble 2
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises four modules.
Module 1
This module includes performance on the chosen second instrument within a selected genre, carried out through individual instrumental lessons.
Module 2
This module provides basic training in ear-based accompaniment as well as studies in the tonal colourings of harmonic functions.
Module 3
This module covers instrumental methodology, including supervised teaching practice on the chosen second instrument in the selected genre.
Module 4
In this module, students work in level-based groups to practice notating and reproducing rhythms, melodies, and chords. It also includes assignments in composing and arranging music under various conditions, as well as music history from different perspectives.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
