Music and Music Teaching 7

The course consists of two modules. The course prepares students for practical placement in music education.

Module 1 Instrument, 5.5 ECTS cr
Content:
-main instrument practice in class and ensembles
-planning an artistic project
-briefing on scenic communication


Module 2 Music pedagogy, 2 ECTS cr
Content:
-seminars on instruction methods for instruments based on chosen themes
-specialised methodological aspects based on chosen plan for the respective instrument
-supervised practice instruction on the main instrument in school or extramural activities
-reflections on completed supervised practical placement

Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
