Classroom Music Teaching 4

The course comprises three modules:

Module 1 Additional instrument, 6 ECTS cr
Content:
-piano and guitar accompaniment for school events
-basic chord play on an accompaniment chord instrument (piano, guitar)
-methodological aspects of arranging music for and with a backing band
-basic microphone technique and specific singing techniques

Module 2 Music pedagogy, 4 ECTS cr
Content:
-planning,conducting and evaluating content and methods for lessons and minor projects involving orchestra instruments, music history and music listening
-project as a method for learning in aesthetic learning processes

Module 3 Music theory 5 ECTS cr
Content:
-practical and theoretical components in various musical styles
-practical ear training in a group
-practical components for recording a short film
-music history from different perspectives.

Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
