Music and Sound Production 2
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises two modules with the following components:
Module 1 Additional instrument, 1 ECTS cr
The module includes basic practice in ear-based accompaniment and studies of the functions of harmonic colouring.
Module 2 Music theory, 3.5 ECTS cr
The module includes sessions in which students practise notation and recreation of rhythms, melodies and chords in skill-based groups. Students also arrange music for different circumstances and compose a minor piece. Different perspectives on music history are included.
Model 3 Music and sound production, 3 ECTS cr
The module includes knowledge of equipment and methods for sound transfer of stage performance such as equipment for Front of house and monitor systems, chain of signal, safety aspects, basic electricity, error analysis and simple maintenance, practical exercises and teaching music production.
