Basic training in accompaniment by ear and studies of harmonic functions and their colourings.
Module 2: Music pedagogy 1 ECTS cr
Teaching methodology for music theory and composition in upper secondary education including practice teaching.
Module 3: Music theory, 5.5 ECTS cr
Students practise notation and rendering rythms, melodies and chords in groups composed according to their level of skills, and arrange music on the basis of different specifications, compose a minor composition in their own style, and study musical form and structure. Music history from different perspectives is also included.
