Music Theory and Composition 7
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises two modules.
Module 1
This module includes methodology for teaching music theory and composition, including supervised practice teaching, and a staged project in which students work both individually and in groups on elements such as planning, arranging, rehearsing selected material, engaging with the target audience, marketing, and performance. The project is carried out in collaboration with young students in school. The scope and form of this collaboration depend on the nature of the project.
Module 2
This module includes topics in modal and tonal counterpoint and advanced-level arranging and composition.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
