Classroom Music Teaching 7
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course includes classroom methodology with the following main components:
- Grading and assessment in primary and upper secondary school
- Documentation
- The various roles and functions of the music teacher, such as the "cultural person in school" and mentorship
- Orientation and in-depth study in the area of disabilities in music education
- Supervised teaching practice at the lower secondary level within the compulsory school system
The course also features a staged project, in which students work both individually and in groups on tasks such as planning, arranging, rehearsing selected material, engaging with a chosen target group, marketing, and implementation. The project is carried out in collaboration with young learners in school. The extent and nature of this collaboration depend on the character of the project.

Music and Music Teaching 7, 7.5 ECTS credits, Teachers' professional leadership 1 - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, plus Classroom music teaching 5, 15 ECTS credits, and registered for Music and Music Teaching 8, 7.5 ECTS credits, Teachers' professional leadership 2 - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, plus Classroom music teaching 6, 7.5 ECTS credits, or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
