Instrument and Ensemble 7
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises two modules.
Module 1
This module involves musical performance on a selected second instrument or instrument group within a chosen genre, through instrumental lessons. It primarily focuses on instrumental or vocal skills training, musical interpretation, and both musical and stage communication.
Module 2:
This module covers instrumental methodology, addressing advanced methodological aspects based on the chosen setup for the respective instrument. It also includes the implementation of and reflection on supervised teaching practice on the selected second instrument within the context of compulsory or optional school activities.
The module also features a staged project in which students work both individually and in groups on activities such as planning, arranging, rehearsing selected material, engaging with a chosen target group, marketing, and execution. The project is carried out in collaboration with young learners in school. The extent and nature of this collaboration depend on the character of the project.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
