7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises three modules.
Module 1
- playing the main instrument through both individual instrumental lessons and ensemble playing
- development of an artistic project
- introduction to stage communication
Module 2
- instrumental methodology seminars with selected themes
- advanced methodological aspects based on the chosen approach for the main instrument
- supervised teaching practice on the main instrument within compulsory or elective school activities
- reflections on the completed supervised teaching practice
Module 3
- ethnomusicology

Completed Thesis 1 - Music education, 15 ECTS credits, and registered for Music and Music Teaching 7, 7.5 ECTS credits, Teachers' professional leadership 1 - music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, plus Instrument and Ensemble 5, 15 ECTS credits, or Classroom Music Teaching 5, 15 ECTS credits, or Music Theory and Composition 5, 15 ECTS credits, or Music and Sound Production 5, 15 ECTS credits, or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
