7.5 ECTS creditsThe course centres on classroom teaching methodology related to
- grading and assessing in primary and secondary schools
- documentation
- the music teacher's roles and functions in school, for instance, as "cultural organiser" and mentorship
- insgtruction in the area of functional disabilities in music teaching
- supervised teaching practice at a chosen school level
The course also includes a stage project where students work individually and in groups with planning, arranging, rehearsing chosen material, targeting contacts, marketing and performing. The project is carried out together with young people in various forms and degrees depending on the nature of the project.
