7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises two modules:
Module 1 Instrument 2 ECTS cr
Students centre on a chosen second instrument or instrument group in a chosen genre in the form of instrument instruction. The focus is on developing instrumental or vocal skills, musical rendition and musical and scenic communication.
Module 2 Music Pedagogy 5.5 ECTS cr
Aspects of advanced instrument methodology on the basis of the chosen approach to the respective instrument are treated as well as the performance of and reflection on supervised teaching practice on the chosen second instrument in school or extra-mural activities.
The course includes a scenic project where students work individually and in groups with planning, arranging, rehearsing chosen material, target contacts, marketing and performing. The project is carried out together with young people in various forms and degrees.
