Degree Project for Master of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
30.0 ECTS creditsThe course is intended for students who will take a degree on the advanced level in the discipline of mechanical engineering. The course objective is that the student shall practise a scientific skill of critical evaluation and analysis combined with an engineering solution method. The student identifies, formulates and limits a problem given from a technical application as in an industrial company or a research and development organization. The student treats the problem by applying knowledge and skills acquired during previous studies, and by information search retrieve and evaluate other scientific and engineering information. The work shall be performed individually and independent and be presented orally and in writing. Normally, the report is written in English with a Swedish summary.

All course work required for the Master's Degree, except 30 ECTS cr and the degree project must be completed for admission to this course.
