Integrated Product Development
9.5 ECTS creditsIntegrated product development includes technology, methods, operations and organisation for increased efficiency and learning in product development. Integration takes place in several dimensions: activities, organisations, functions, hierarchical levels and individuals.
In groups and in as realistic forms as possible, students carry out an industry-based product development project, including
- supervision
- steering-group meetings
Lectures on and exercises in:
- product planning and project management
- planning and managing a project
- groupwork methodology, distribution of roles and responsibilities, project leadership
- systematic problem-solving, problem formulation, specification of requirements and preferences
- sustainable development.

Admission requirements
Completed programme courses totalling 90 ECTS credits for the TGHMT or TGHID engineering programmes, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
