String Orchestra I

The course includes the following components:

• making music in a string orchestra
• musical expression
• musical communication
• scenic preparation
• conduct according to standard praxis at performances,

Instruction is provided in groups. Section and orchestra rehearsals require students to be prepared and have studied their music parts.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: General admission requirements.

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
