15.0 ECTS creditsThe course deals with the following components:
-knowledge and learning from theoretical perspectives, proven experience, research results and students' own understanding
-different social and cultural aspects such as environment, class, identity, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, needs and maturity, and how these can affect development and learning in various pedagogical contexts,
-observation as a method,
-useful digital learning resources for pupils and for students' own studies,
-pupils' learning from special education perspectives, and
-activities developing communicative skills.
The course is based on varied forms of instruction and student activities, for example, case studies, group discussions and seminars.

General admission requirements plus eitherfield-specific eligibility A6 b (upper secondary school level Mathematics 2a or 2b or 2c, Natural Science 1b or 1a1 + 1a2, Civics 1b or 1a1 + 1a2), orfield-specific eligibility 6 b (upper secondary school level English B, Mathematics B, Natural Science A, Civics A) .
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
