- Different forms of research, development and evaluation projects
- Literature searches and literature survey
- The relevance of research to society, education and the teaching profession
- Preparation for practical placement

Module 2: Practical Placement, 7.5 ECTS cr
- Development projects
- Planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical activities in preschool
- Democratic and ethical aspects, their application and potentials

Module 3 Independent project, 15 ECTS cr
- Formulation of problem, aim and research questions with consideration of ethical aspects
- Questions specified on the basis of literature references
- Choice of methodical design and description of planned execution
- Collecting, processing and analysing empirical material
- Presentation and discussion of conclusions
- Written report of the study
- Defending and discussing the project
- Performing a peer review of other students' projects

Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
