Cultural Studies Method II
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course provides further insights into key cultural studies methods and theoretical principles for analysing the cultural sector and its conditions, field of activities, and forms of expression in relation to the traditions and approaches of the theory and philosophy of science. The overview of the methods and theories of cultural studies takes its starting-point in current cultural policy and continually problematises the practical and social dimensions of theory. The course also includes an introduction to current cultural policy research in the Nordic countries with an emphasis on methods and theory in cultural studies.

Cultural Studies (60 ECTS credits), including KVGBM1 Cultural Studies Methods I (7.5 ECTS credits), or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
