Cultural Heritage
7.5 ECTS creditsThe national and global importance of cultural heritage is introduced with an emphasis on history use, museums, and cultural tourism. The focus is on how cultural heritage is constructed, handled, and conveyed, but also how it is used and consumed. Essential aspects are the political dimensions of cultural heritage, different conceptualisations of cultural heritage, and concepts such as tradition, canon, authenticity, and identity.
