Culture and globalization

The course provides an introduction to the main theories of globalization processes and highlights how globalization theories are related to global cultural processes, cultural changes and current cultural expressions. The course also introduces the academic debate about multiculturalism and its relation to current debates of cultural policy.

The course is taught in English.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
