Culture and globalization

The course introduces the central theories of globalisation and how these are related to global processes with an emphasis on cultural and social dimensions. Students are also introduced to the academic discussion on multicultural, diversity, and intercultural issues, along with the relation between multiculturalism and globalisation theories with a focus on the cultural sector.

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
