7.5 ECTS creditsThe course includes the following components:
Swedish forest industry, environmental issues in the pulp industry, wood structure , wood handling, cooking, pulp washing, oxygen delignification, bleaching, chemical recovery, mechanical pulp, pulp characterization, recycled fibers and production economy.
Instruction is in the form of lectures and a mill visit.
