Summer course for Chinese students in Science and Technology
7.5 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of lectures, exercises, field trips and individual project supervision.
Main course components
-Overview of Swedish culture and basic facts of Sweden and Swedish industry in the technology sector and discussion of cultural differences between China and Sweden in general and in industry
- The concept of sustainable development and examples of how this is imbued in new technical solutions in Swedish society
- Identifying, formulating and analysing problems with the help of creativity methods, which are used to solve problems and increase the understanding of thinking innovatively
- Field trips to industries and other areas of interest linked to technology in the region
- Mandatory project in science or technology with a link to the students' programme area and based on the students' previous knowledge and skills.
- The writing process and presentation techniques

One year of study in Science and Technology at a Chinese University.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
