Main instrument II, Western classical music
15.0 ECTS creditsStudents study, interpret, and perform a stylistically and historically varied repertoire. The course covers performance practices, style, artistic methods and processes, artistic approaches and assessment, technical and performance-related considerations for the repertoire in question, as well as the musical performance of students and their role as musicians. The planning and performance of in-house concerts and audition practice are included, as well as the study of piano accompaniment for students whose main instrument is the piano. The choice of repertoire is based on a broad musical and artistic field which includes various musical styles, but partly also on the profile of each student, which means that the repertoires of different students may vary.
