User tests, prototyping and evaluation
7.5 ECTS creditsThis is a specialisation course on user test methodology. Students practice evaluating design proposals through prototyping and user tests.
Special emphasis is on formulating reliable and valid evaluation reports.
Course components:
- user testing in laboratory and home environments
- practice in using screen recording, sound recording, Ozlab and eye-tracking as evaluation tools,
- evaluating interaction design proposals through the questionnaire method including video file demonstrations of interaction design proposals
- presenting ealuations to teachers, fellow-students, researchers and practitioners and developing skills in report writing.

Admission requirements
60 ECTS credits in Information Systems or Computer Science, or 30 ECTS credits in Information Systems and 30 ECTS credits in Project Management, or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
