Intercultural studies: theory, method and essay

The course introduces different theoretical perspectives used in the field of intercultural studies, and methods for independent intercultural projects. Issues related to formulating research problems, applying source criticism and referencing are covered. Students complete an independent essay and defend their paper at a seminar.

Admission requirements: IKGA1A Intercultural Communication I, 15 ECTS credits, or IKGA11 Intercultural Communication, 15 ECTS credits, and Intercultural Studies I: Cultural Encounters and Identities, 15 ECTS credits, or equivalent
