Intercultural Studies: Conflict and Communication

The course is an introduction to intercultural studies of conflict and conflict resolution. The course covers the cultural dimensions of conflict and the strategies for dialogue and peacemaking that have been developed in the intercultural field. Students focus on a conflict of their choice, analyse it using intercultural methods and concepts, and present their analyses in a seminar.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
