Organisation and Leadership

The course deals with the development of organisation theory from the industrial breakthrough till the present and discusses the seminal classics. In the area of strategic management schools, the different leadership and organisation principles in the industrial states are described. The course also introduces new approaches such as gender theory, postmodern organisation theory and critical theory. Theory is related to today's organisations and its practical relevance is emphasised.

Admission requirements: Admission to the industrial management programme at Karlstad University

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
