30 ECTS credits
Students are taught and trained to plan and carry out teaching components in the areas of outdoor activities and leadership in an authentic context. Different outdoor aspects are practised and students shoulder different leadership duties of relevance to their future teaching profession and evaluate their respective performance together. Related studies and discussions of models for learning are treated with theory and practical knowledge integrated. To ensure sustainable teaching and learning, students enhance their knowledge of physical training through lectures, literature studies and practical application. During their practical placement, students apply their acquired knowledge and skills in teaching, leadership and learning and also have the opportunity to evaluate their teaching of units with school teachers.
