Modern experimental physics

The aim of the course is that the student shall acquire basic knowledge and skills in planning and performing scientific experiments in modern physics, as well as in writing presenting the scientific issues and the result of the experiments. Another aim of the course is to deepen the student's knowledge in quantum physics, solid state physics and nanoscience, as well as providing links to relevant modern research.
Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Admission requirements: Physics 45 ECTS cr and Mathematics 30 ECTS cr, including the courses Quantum Physics I and Solid State Physics, or equivalent
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
