Health, environment and sustainable development

The course starts out from key environmental and resource-related problems and relates them to sustainability efforts relevant to health at the levels of individuals, organisations, and society. Sustainable development and health are discussed from ecological, economic, and social perspectives. The course provides an environmental and sustainability-oriented perspective on public health, including local, regional, national, and global examples connected to the 17 global sustainability goals of the UN (Agenda 2030) and the Swedish environmental quality objectives.

Progressive specialisation: G1F (has less than 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
