Introduction to Public Health Science
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers health and public health in a historical, cultural, and global perspective, including the national public health objectives and the determinant factors of public health, theories and models used in public health science, and how ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic aspects may influence publich health. The course also includes the unequal distribution of health, a holistic view of human beings, ethics and morals, and the concepts of health and disease. How health developments at the population level can be measured and followed up is a central point.
