Master's Thesis in Public Health Sciences
30.0 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of lectures, PM seminars, individual supervision, independent and active coursework and a concluding thesis seminar serving as respondent and as peer reviewer.
The course comprises the following components:
Students are required to continually reflect on their own work-in-progress in terms of process as well as content.
Students write a thesis with a focus on a chosen specialisation area and problem.They are required to independently plan, carry out, document and defend an empirical study in a chosen area and defend an empirical study in a chosen area. Supervision is provided throughout the course period

Admission requirements
Completed courses in Public Health Sciences 30 ECTS cr at Master's level, including Health Promotion 7.5 ECTS cr, Equality in health 7.5 ECTS cr, Child Health in a Public Health Perspective 7.5 ECTS cr, and qualitative and quantitative research methodscourses of at least 15 ECTS cr at Master's level, or equivalent. Upper secondary level Swedish B or 3 and English 6 or B, or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
