30.0 ECTS creditsThe course includes modules about Financial Accounting, Organization, Leadership, Accounting Management, Operations Management, Corporate Finance, Marketing and Business Development. The financial accounting part is complementary to the fundamental course and deals with, among other things, consolidated financial statements. Furthermore the course offers deeper studies in organizational theory, especially concerning leadership. The economic consequences as well as other consequences of decisions are central in management accounting. Important decisions are connected to production planning, inventory control and transportation as well as localization, layout and capacity planning of the plants used for these purposes. Other areas included are project planning, quality control and other activities connected to the production of goods and services. Investment decisions and analysis of the capital structure of the company with the help of cash flow analysis are important parts of strategic decisions. The course offers knowledge about how to analyze these decisions with an emphasis on the relationship between risk and rate of return. To understand this, theories about the valuation of securities and other financial instruments on the capital market are used. In the marketing part of the course the strategic importance for the company of marketing is developed. Especially the strategic decision process, production and marketing of services, network aspects and relationship marketing are dealt with. Finally the course integrates the knowledge of different business administration areas with the purpose of getting understanding of business development.
