Transformation for Sustainability
5.0 ECTS creditsThe aim of the course is for students to learn about the concept of sustainable development and the theories behind it, and be able to apply and analyse this new knowledge in relation to their own business context. Current environmental and resource-related problems are described, as well as some of the methods available to sustainable development work. These methods primarily involve technical aspects and psychological theories, as well as political instruments which can either help or hinder a transformation of society in the direction of sustainability.
Students participate actively in digital discussions assigned by the teacher, and co-create part of the course content through applying theories, concepts, and models to their own experiences. The course requires individual study, continual reading, and active and thoughtful participation in teaching sessions.
