Science Fiction literature: Modern Developments

The course provides an introduction to the development of English-language science fiction literature over the past century. The focus is on historical and contextual aspects as well as the study of influential modern texts.

Instruction is in the form of lectures and seminars. The course includes mandatory written assignments, and concludes with independent projects presented and discussed in a seminar.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: General admission requirements and upper secondary level English 6 or English level 2, or equivalent

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
