Horror and gothic literature: a survey

The course provides an overview and introduction to the classics of horror and Gothic literature in English, as well as later variants. The shifting function and development of the genre are highlighted by examining specific moments in literary history.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: General entry requirements plus either upper secondary level English 6 or English level 2.

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
