English literature and theory
7.5 ECTS creditsIn this module, students apply literary theory to texts from the English-speaking world. The module highlights the relationship between literature and society through studies of literary and cultural theories and perspectives, such as postcolonial, Marxist, ecocritical, and gender-based theories. Through analysing texts, students acquire familiarity with theory and develop an awareness of the significance and function of literature.

ENGA34 Introduction to English Literature (7.5 ECTS credits), ENGB63 English Literature before 1800 (7.5 ECTS credits), and ENGB64 English Literature after 1800 (7.5 ECTS credits), or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
