English language proficiency

This module focuses on students' knowledge of and proficiency in spoken and written Standard English. Theoretical content is alternated with practical exercises which help students improve their pronunciation and written production in English. The course includes general writing skills but has a special emphasis on formal writing. Writing skills are developed through process writing in small groups.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: General admission requirements plus upper secondary level English 6 or B, or equivalent

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
