Introduction to English Literature

The course focuses on the analysis of different types and genres of literature in English and introduces basic literary theory and concepts used in literary studies. Students develop analytical and critical skills through oral and written assignments involving the use of relevant literary concepts.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: General entry requirements and upper secondary level English 6 or English level 2. An equivalence assessment can be made.

Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
