Satire: Themes and practices in Western cultural history

In this course, satire as a broad phenomenon is studied over time and across genres and media in a Western cultural, historical, and political context.

Instruction is in the form of reading assignments, both satirical texts and related academic texts, and oral seminar discussions.

90 ECTS credits, including a degree project of 15 ECTS credits at the G2F level, in English or another main subject of study in the humanities or the social sciences, plus upper secondary level English 6, or equivalent
