The course covers the following:
The course covers the following:
- Introduction to energy sources and their environmental impact.
- Solar cells: The properties of photovoltaic cell structure, solar cell modules and their placement, data sheet parameters, concentrated photovoltaics.
- Solar power systems: Solar thermal systems, grid-connected and autonomous photovoltaic systems, systems for solar tracking and tracking of maximum solar power.
- Wind power: The wind power curve, Betz's Law, turbines with horizontal and vertical shafts, wind power parks.
- Wind power systems: Dynamic elements for wind parks, conversion of energy from wind power, onshore and offshore systems.
- Other renewable energy technologies: Biomass, geothermal, hydro power and fuel cells.

Admission requirements:
Introduction to electrical power systems, 7.5 ECTS credits, or one course, 7.5 ECTS credits, in Physics, or Engineering Physics from a Bachelor or Master program in Engineering, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
