Basic ecology with an emphasis on ecological system service.
The basics of the concept sustainable development.
Climate models and their importance for societal development.
The importance of natural resource usage and lifestyes for a sustainable society.
The role of different actors in sustainable development efforts.
The course is offered as distance education with instruction in the form of lectures, seminars and hand-in assignments. There are no mandatory on-campus meetings.
