Biological methods and analyses
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course deals with common methods for biological field studies and basic laboratory techniques, and information retrieval in the field of biology. The course covers descriptive statistics, basic probability theory, experimental design, hypothesis testing and basic parametric and non-parametric analysis methods. In addition, scientific writing and presentation techniques are included. Instruction is in the form of lectures, laboratory sessions, excursions and report writing.

General admission requirements, plus upper secondary level Mathematics 3b or Mathematics 3c, Biology 1, and Chemistry 1, or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
