Visiting researcher
2013-02-05We welcome Ayako Taniguchi, Assistant Professor of Risk Engineering at University of Tsukuba, Japan, who will be visiting Samot, our Public Transport Research Group, until August 25th, 2013.
Ayako Taniguchi has been working at Tokyo Institute of Technology, and as an engineer in Nihon Data Service (Consultancy Company). In origin, she is a civil engineer specializing in urban transport planning.
Her current research objective is to apply psychological strategies to manage social dilemmas concerning urban and transportation policy, and research interests include promotion of public transport, model development for people’s attitude & wellbeing toward public transport, educational program to develop moral sense of school children, and risk communication for a natural disaster.
