2022-02-14We are happy to welcome Professor Helen Perks. She has been appointed Visiting Professor at CTF for three years. Her research centers on relationships and networks in service and product innovation.
"I am very delighted for this opportunity to work with colleagues at CTF, continuing a long relationship with the Centre. I am looking forward to lively exchange of research ideas and will, among other things, be involved in the ongoing project Discern", says Helen Perks.
Her current research projects encompass eco-system and platform-based innovation; social innovation in networks; hybridity in causal and effectual managerial decision-making; user innovation networks, digitalization and product smartness configurations.
“In my research I seek out micro practices that underlie what we see in the way businesses innovate and are being transformed today. This means going beyond the apparent and digging deep both in the way we engage with organizations and in the way we conduct our research. I am always learning and exploring rigorous ways to carry out qualitative research, particularly the case study method. Specifically, analyzing rich data creates challenges yet huge opportunities for theory development and impact” says Helen Perks.
