Welcome to the seminar on 'Healthy Futures: Climate Change Impacts and Solutions in Bangladesh.' We are honored to have Prof. Atiqul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Public Health and Informatics and Dean of the Faculty of Preventive and Social Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Bangladesh, who is also affiliated with the Centre for Societal Risk Research (CSR) at Karlstad University, as our distinguished speaker. Prof. Atiq will be discussing his ongoing research work as well as our joint project on climate change, its effects, and health solutions in the coastal zone of Bangladesh.
