Congestion Controls for Multi-access
This project is part of a continued collaboration between Karlstad University and Deutsche Telekom with the aim to improve user experience for 5G networks by enabling multi-access, which is the parallel usage of multiple access networks of different types (e.g. WiFi, 4/5G cellular).
This project aims to integrate flexible packet scheduling over multiple paths with per path congestion-controlled tunnels and adjustable reordering mechanisms to improve the overall user experience for hybrid 5G networks. In more details, we aim to design, implement and evaluate new congestion control algorithms for DCCP protocol to be used in multi-access packet distribution framework.
