Academic Celebration 2025
This year's Academic Ceremony will take place on October 17 and begins with a ceremonial lecture at Karlstad CCC, Lerinsalen, from 09:00 to 11:40.
The formal ceremony starts in Aula Magna at 16:00. Please note: seats must be taken no later than 15:45.

The ceremonial lecture is a public scientific presentation. Pre-registration is required and opens on June 25.
The ceremony is open to invited guests, university staff, and students, and also requires pre-registration.

Participants
New professors and honorary doctors will take part in the ceremonial lecture, led by moderator Jan van Stam.
The ceremony will include speeches by the Vice-Chancellor, Deans, ceremonial lecturer Marie Tanner, and the President of the Student Union.
