Annika Jonsson
My research interests concern relationships between the living and the dead, materialisation of loss, mnemonic practices, temporality and disposal of the dead.
My research, which is primarily based on interviews, focus on people’s experiences, emotions and phrasings in order to capture both individuality, community and culture. The research also address subtle expressions of power relations and normativities.
