Anna Pechurina
Dr Anna Pechurina (PhD in Sociology, University of Manchester) is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the Department of Social and Psychological Studies at Karlstads University (KaU).

Dr Pechurina’s research expertise includes: study of identity, culture, material culture and homemaking, migration, mobility, international higher education.
Anna is currently researching the meaning of home, hosts/guests relationships as part of sharing economy, and gender identity, work, and migration in academia.
Current research projects:
Erasmus+ project COLECO: Higher Education Curricula Development on the Collaborative Economy in Europe (Principal Investigator Dr Cristina Miguel)
“Buffering identities”: research of highly skilled female professionals working in Western academia.
